What is this blog?

After five years of working in commercial real estate in Manhattan, I followed in Steinbeck's footsteps and purchased a car and set out to see America. Seeing and meeting America's parks and terrain, people, wildlife, and thousands of miles of dirt and paved roads (and oodles of other strange happenings), I'm doing what I've always wanted to do: Explore. Sleeping in my car (and a few friends' homes) along the way and fueled primarily by overflowing curiosity and coffee, this is my account. What a beautiful country we live in.
